Health and Safety

We have an up-to-date Risk Assessment which is updated annually and shared with all class members. We ask that you ensure that you read the Risk Assessment prior to attending classes and follow all procedures. We will issue an up-dated Risk Assessment to all students when it is reviewed.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

Both Katie and Niamh have an up-to-date DBS check.  These are available upon request.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of classes will be the responsibility of Katie Clarke and will only be cancelled if Katie and Niamh Clarke are unavailable due to serious, unforeseen circumstances, particularly bad weather.  The session will be rescheduled where possible.

First Aid

Both Katie and Niamh hold a current, Sports First Aid certificate.  A First Aid kit is always available at class, and all accidents will be recorded in an accident book.

Insurance

All trainers will act responsibly and take reasonable care of themselves and their students that are affected by their actions or omissions.  Katie’s K9s has insurance with Pet Business Insurance and includes Public Liability Insurance.
